Why does the TDS value of the first glass of water in the morning appear to be high?
Many of you must have discover that the first glass of water in the morning always has a high TDS value.
Because the working principle of the RO membrane filter element is to pressurize the raw water through a booster pump, so that the pure water passes through the RO membrane, and the impurities are blocked by the membrane.
Therefore, when the machine stops operating, the pump stops boosting. Under the condition of no external pressure, due to the osmotic pressure between the concentrated water and the pure water, the process of two-way osmosis will occur.
The longer the machine stops working, the higher the TDS value of the pure water will be, and the TDS value of the first glass of water released in the morning will increase!
